About Lisa
I am a dedicated Piano tutor with 7 years of experience helping college students improve their musical skills. I believe that every student has the ability to learn and enjoy piano when lessons are designed to match their learning style.
My teaching approach is friendly, organized, and student-centered. I explain difficult concepts in simple English and use demonstrations to make learning easy. Students are encouraged to ask questions and build confidence through regular practice.
I use innovative learning techniques such as digital tools, rhythm exercises, listening practice, and creative assignments. These methods make lessons enjoyable while helping students understand music more effectively.
Students develop strong skills in finger technique, note reading, scales, chords, rhythm, posture, and musical expression. I provide personalized practice plans and continuous encouragement to help students achieve lasting success.

My teaching philosophy is centered on helping students become confident and independent piano players. Every lesson is carefully planned according to the student's learning needs, making progress enjoyable and effective.
I use real-life examples and practical case studies to explain musical concepts in a simple way. Students learn rhythm through familiar experiences, understand theory through songs they enjoy, and explore performance techniques through practical situations. This helps them connect learning with real musical experiences.
Understanding is always my highest priority. I patiently explain every lesson and encourage students to ask questions freely. Strong understanding leads to better confidence and better performances.
Communication is clear, supportive, and motivating. I provide practical demonstrations, detailed feedback, and easy home practice plans that help students continue improving.
Integrity is reflected in my honesty, dedication, punctuality, and respect. Along with piano, I also teach keyboard, music theory, sight reading, ear training, rhythm exercises, improvisation, accompaniment, chord progressions, and beginner music composition. My goal is to help students build excellent musical skills and enjoy music for a lifetime.
