About Greer
I am a passionate piano teacher with 18 years of teaching experience. My students include school children, college learners, and working professionals who want to develop their piano skills and enjoy the benefits of music education.
My teaching approach combines structure, flexibility, and creativity. I design lessons that match each student's learning pace and interests, helping them stay motivated and achieve meaningful progress.
My classes cover scales, chords, rhythm training, finger exercises, sight reading, ear training, music theory, improvisation, and performance preparation. I focus on helping students develop both technical skills and artistic expression.
Apart from piano instruction, I teach keyboard techniques and music reading. These areas provide students with a stronger musical foundation and greater confidence.
I am dedicated to helping students grow as musicians and individuals. Through encouragement, personalized guidance, and practical learning methods, I help students achieve lasting success.

My teaching style is centered on communication, creativity, flexibility, patience, and practical learning. I believe every piano lesson should help students understand music while developing technical ability, confidence, and creativity. Every class is adapted to the student's pace and learning objectives.
Students first build a strong musical foundation through posture, hand position, finger exercises, rhythm, note reading, and music theory. After mastering these basics, they continue with scales, chords, dynamics, articulation, pedal techniques, sight reading, expressive performance, and musical expression.
I explain every lesson through demonstrations, practical activities, and easy-to-understand examples. Students are encouraged to ask questions, practice consistently, and understand the purpose behind each exercise. Regular feedback helps students improve with confidence.
Students experience different musical styles while developing creativity through accompaniment, improvisation, and performance practice. These activities improve listening ability and artistic confidence.
Besides piano, I teach keyboard techniques, ear training, rhythm exercises, music theory, sight reading, music appreciation, performance preparation, and beginner composition. These supporting lessons provide balanced musical development.
My mission is to create enjoyable lessons that inspire confidence, creativity, and a lifelong appreciation for piano and music.
