About Koni
Every student has the ability to learn piano with the right support and dedication. With 14 years of experience teaching college students, I focus on creating lessons that are enjoyable, structured, and easy to understand.
My teaching style is patient and interactive. I explain concepts in simple English, demonstrate techniques step by step, and encourage students to learn through regular practice and active participation.
I use innovative teaching methods including digital practice tools, rhythm exercises, ear training, listening sessions, and customized song practice. These methods make learning enjoyable while improving both technical and creative skills.
Students learn note reading, scales, chords, posture, finger coordination, rhythm, dynamics, and expressive playing. I provide detailed feedback and personalized learning plans that help students continue improving confidently.

I believe that every student can become a confident piano player with proper guidance and consistent practice. My lessons are student-focused and designed according to individual learning needs.
I use real-life examples to explain rhythm, timing, musical expression, and theory. Students connect classroom learning with everyday experiences and familiar songs, making difficult topics easier to understand. Practical case studies help students apply knowledge in real musical situations.
Understanding is always my priority. I teach each topic patiently and ensure students develop strong fundamentals before learning advanced techniques.
Communication plays a major role in my teaching style. I explain lessons clearly, answer questions with patience, and provide encouraging feedback after every class. Practice plans are simple and easy to follow.
Integrity guides every lesson. I believe in honesty, fairness, professionalism, and respect. I motivate students to practice regularly and appreciate every improvement they make.
Besides piano, I also teach keyboard, sight reading, music theory, ear training, rhythm practice, improvisation, accompaniment, scales, chords, and beginner composition.
