About Zinnia
I am a passionate Piano instructor with more than 12 years of experience teaching students from various backgrounds. I teach school students, college students, and working professionals who are interested in learning Piano for personal enjoyment, academic growth, or performance opportunities.
My teaching approach is student-focused and goal-oriented. I customise lessons according to each student's needs, ensuring they receive the support and guidance necessary for success.
Students learn scales, chords, rhythm training, sight reading, ear training, music theory, finger exercises, and performance skills. I encourage students to develop confidence and creativity while mastering the fundamentals of Piano playing.
In addition to Piano, I teach keyboard techniques and music theory. These subjects help students build a stronger foundation and improve their overall musicianship.
I am committed to helping students enjoy the learning process while achieving measurable progress. Through patience, encouragement, and personalised instruction, I help students reach their musical goals.

My teaching style is built on communication, creativity, flexibility, and supportive learning. I believe every student should feel comfortable asking questions and exploring music without fear of making mistakes. This positive atmosphere helps students learn faster and enjoy every lesson.
Students begin by learning posture, hand position, finger exercises, note reading, rhythm, and music theory. These important skills prepare them for scales, chords, arpeggios, dynamics, pedal techniques, sight reading, expressive performance, and advanced musical skills.
Every lesson includes demonstrations, practical exercises, revision, and personalised feedback. Students are encouraged to understand music deeply and practise regularly to build confidence and independence.
Students explore classical, pop, devotional, movie, and contemporary music while developing creativity through improvisation and accompaniment. These activities strengthen listening skills and musical imagination.
Besides piano, I teach keyboard skills, ear training, rhythm exercises, music theory, music appreciation, performance preparation, and sight reading. These supporting lessons provide balanced musical education.
My mission is to help students develop confidence, discipline, creativity, and a lifelong appreciation for piano and music.
