About Lyra
I have 13 years of experience teaching piano and hold a PhD in Piano Performance Education. Throughout my teaching career, I have guided students in developing stronger technique, improving performance skills, and building confidence at the keyboard. Helping learners achieve lasting progress continues to motivate me.
My teaching philosophy emphasizes patience, organization, and personalized support. I believe students make the best progress when lessons are tailored to their individual needs while maintaining clear learning goals. Creating a positive environment is central to my approach.
Outside teaching, I enjoy researching music education, studying advanced piano repertoire, and collaborating with performers. These experiences help me bring valuable insights into lessons. I am passionate about helping students achieve meaningful musical growth.

My piano lessons are designed to help students build strong musical foundations while developing confidence and artistic expression. We focus on rhythm precision, note-reading fluency, finger coordination, hand independence, dynamic control, harmonic understanding, and performance preparation. Every lesson combines technical improvement with enjoyable musical discovery.
Students work through sight-reading exercises, technical studies, repertoire learning, listening activities, musical interpretation tasks, and creative keyboard challenges. I present concepts in a clear and practical way so learners can understand how skills connect and support overall growth. Lessons are customized to individual goals and learning preferences.
I enjoy helping students become confident musicians who approach the piano with enthusiasm and understanding. Through supportive guidance and detailed feedback, learners strengthen their abilities while developing greater musical awareness. My goal is to create lessons that are engaging, productive, and inspiring.
