About Mila
I completed a Master’s Degree in Piano Studies and Music Pedagogy after years of focused learning in instrumental performance, collaborative music, and advanced educational methods during my academic training. Over the past 8 years, I have guided students from many different backgrounds and skill levels, helping them improve through personalised instruction and supportive lesson planning. Teaching piano allows me to combine creativity, mentorship, and emotional communication in a deeply meaningful way. I enjoy helping learners become more confident musicians through artistic growth and musical expression.
My teaching style focuses on adaptability, patience, and balanced musical development. Some students improve best through technical repetition and structured exercises, while others respond more naturally to improvisation and creative exploration. I carefully adjust lessons according to each learner’s confidence level, comfort, and artistic goals. Along with technical development, I help students strengthen listening ability, rhythm awareness, expressive playing, and performance confidence. Building a positive and welcoming learning atmosphere remains one of my most important priorities as an educator.
Outside teaching, I continue practising piano, exploring different musical traditions, and studying educational approaches that help keep my lessons engaging and motivating. Music remains a major source of creativity and inspiration in my life. One of the most rewarding parts of teaching is seeing students become more expressive and self-assured throughout their musical journey. Helping learners enjoy music while building strong piano skills continues to inspire me greatly.

My piano lessons are designed to help students build strong musical foundations while enjoying the learning process in a supportive and encouraging environment. I teach rhythm control, note reading, finger coordination, hand balance, expressive phrasing, and dynamic control using practical exercises that feel approachable for learners at every stage. Lessons also include sight-reading practice, improvisation activities, timing exercises, duet playing, and ear training that help students strengthen their musical understanding naturally over time. I create lessons that encourage curiosity, patience, and confidence so learners feel comfortable improving step by step without pressure. Every session supports both technical growth and musical creativity together.
Beginners focus on posture, keyboard familiarity, scales, and simple melodies through organised practice methods and patient instruction that build healthy habits gradually. Intermediate learners improve coordination between both hands, rhythmic consistency, expressive timing, and smoother musical transitions through guided activities and structured exercises. Advanced students work on performance preparation, advanced repertoire refinement, interpretation techniques, and emotional storytelling through detailed coaching sessions. I carefully adapt lessons according to each learner’s personality, pace, and musical interests so progress remains balanced and motivating throughout the learning process.
Learning piano should feel meaningful, inspiring, and rewarding. I encourage students to appreciate gradual improvement while building confidence through supportive feedback and regular practice. Many learners become more expressive and independent as their musical understanding develops naturally over time. My goal is to help students strengthen both technical ability and artistic individuality while building a lasting connection with music.
