About Octavia
My interest in piano began when I first explored music on a keyboard during my early education. I quickly became fascinated by how melodies and harmonies combine to create expressive sound. This curiosity inspired me to study piano more deeply and eventually complete a Master’s Degree in Piano Studies.
During the past 10 years, I have taught students with different levels of experience. Some learners are beginners who want to explore music for the first time, while others aim to improve their playing technique. My teaching style focuses on patience, clear explanation, and helping students build confidence through steady progress.
Outside teaching, I enjoy practicing piano and studying different musical compositions. I often explore new styles of music to expand my understanding of performance and interpretation. Helping students discover their musical potential and enjoy learning the piano remains one of the most rewarding parts of my work.

My piano lessons focus on helping students understand the instrument while developing strong musical foundations. Beginners start by learning the layout of the keyboard, correct hand position, and simple rhythm exercises. I guide students through basic note reading and short melodies that help them coordinate both hands. These early lessons help learners become comfortable with the instrument and understand how music is structured.
As students gain experience, lessons include scales, chords, and more detailed musical pieces. I explain how rhythm, tempo, and dynamics influence musical expression. Students practice reading sheet music while developing stronger finger movement and control. These exercises help learners improve coordination and musical awareness.
Learning piano requires patience and regular practice. I encourage students to focus on gradual improvement and practice small sections carefully. Over time, learners develop stronger finger technique and greater confidence when performing music. My goal is to help students enjoy playing the piano while steadily improving their musical ability.
