About Junia
I have 6 years of experience teaching piano, and I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Piano Studies. My interest in music started at an early stage, and over time, I developed a strong passion for the piano through continuous learning and practice. This passion encouraged me to pursue formal education and later share my knowledge with students who are beginning their own musical journey. I have worked with learners of different ages and levels, helping them build their skills step by step.
My teaching approach is patient, supportive, and adaptable to each student’s learning style. I understand that every learner progresses at a different pace, so I adjust my teaching methods to suit their needs. I focus on building strong fundamentals while also encouraging creativity and enjoyment in music. This balanced approach helps students stay motivated and confident as they continue learning and improving.
Outside of teaching, I continue practicing and exploring different styles of music to improve my own skills. This allows me to bring fresh ideas and techniques into my lessons, keeping them engaging and effective. Teaching piano is very meaningful to me because I get to see students grow from beginners into confident musicians. Supporting their development and watching their progress over time gives me a strong sense of satisfaction and purpose.

My piano lessons are designed to help students build a strong and clear foundation in music while enjoying the learning process in a calm and structured way. I begin with essential skills such as correct hand position, finger coordination, note reading, and rhythm understanding. Each concept is explained in a simple and step-by-step manner so students can follow comfortably and practice with confidence. I also include exercises and simple musical pieces that help learners connect technical learning with actual playing, making lessons both meaningful and enjoyable.
I adapt each lesson based on the student’s level, pace, and goals so that progress feels natural and steady. Beginners focus on basic note reading, simple melodies, and coordination between both hands. Intermediate learners work on improving rhythm accuracy, dynamics, and playing longer pieces smoothly. Advanced students focus on expression, technique refinement, and performance skills that help them play with confidence and musical clarity. I provide clear feedback and practice guidance so students can improve continuously without feeling overwhelmed.
As students continue learning, they develop a deeper connection with music and gain confidence in their playing abilities. They become more independent in practice and begin to express emotions through their performance in a natural way. Over time, they build discipline, concentration, and creativity, which supports their overall development as musicians. My goal is to help learners enjoy music deeply while becoming confident pianists who can perform with clarity, expression, and confidence in different environments.
