About Sutton
I am a piano tutor with 6 years of experience and a BA in Musicology (Piano History). I focus on jazz piano, guiding students in improvisation, comping, and building a sophisticated harmonic vocabulary.
My lessons emphasize holistic development: jazz theory, transcription, ear training for complex chords, and rhythmic precision. Students learn to create music spontaneously while deepening their understanding.
