About Geraldine
Twenty-one years of teaching means I have seen almost every hurdle a student might encounter. Truthfully, the hardest part of piano is balancing rigid technique with the joy of music itself. My Master of Music from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music shapes how I guide students through pedaling technique and rhythm.
We explore everything from scales and arpeggios to chord voicing and jazz improvisation. I focus on posture, hand position, and dynamics to ensure your classical repertoire or pop pieces sound refined. Music theory remains the backbone of my instruction as we navigate contemporary styles and expressive performance.
