About Elodie
I completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Classical Piano Studies after years of studying performance, keyboard technique, and musical interpretation during my academic training. Over the last 13 years, I have taught students from different backgrounds and skill levels, helping them improve through patient instruction and personalized lesson planning. Teaching piano allows me to combine creativity, structure, and communication in a deeply fulfilling way. I enjoy helping learners realize that music can become both enjoyable and personally meaningful with the right support.
My teaching approach focuses on encouragement, adaptability, and balanced skill development. Some students learn best through technical repetition and structured exercises, while others improve more naturally through creativity and musical exploration. I carefully adapt lessons according to each learner’s comfort level, goals, and learning style. Along with technical growth, I help students strengthen listening ability, rhythm awareness, expressive playing, and performance confidence. Creating a calm and welcoming learning environment remains very important to me.
Outside teaching, I continue practicing piano, studying different musical styles, and exploring creative performance methods that help keep my lessons engaging and fresh. Music remains an important part of my daily life because it encourages emotional expression, discipline, and artistic growth. One of the most rewarding parts of teaching is watching students become more confident and independent musicians over time. Helping learners enjoy music while building lasting piano skills continues to inspire me greatly.

My piano lessons are designed to help students build confidence and musical fluency from the very beginning through engaging and organized learning methods. I teach finger independence, note reading, rhythm coordination, chord understanding, and listening skills in a way that feels approachable and enjoyable for every learner. Lessons also include duet practice, sight-reading exercises, improvisation activities, and timing drills that strengthen musical awareness naturally over time. I create a calm and encouraging learning environment where students can improve steadily without feeling pressured. Every lesson balances technical development with creativity and personal musical expression.
Beginners receive patient guidance with hand positioning, posture, simple scales, and melody practice that create strong foundational habits. Intermediate learners improve rhythm control, pedal technique, reading fluency, and coordination between both hands through structured studies and practical exercises. Advanced students focus on expressive phrasing, dynamic balance, performance confidence, and emotional interpretation through advanced repertoire work. I carefully adapt lessons according to each learner’s goals, pace, and musical interests so progress feels balanced and motivating throughout the learning process.
Learning piano should feel rewarding, inspiring, and meaningful. I encourage students to enjoy the learning process while building confidence through consistent practice and supportive guidance. Many learners become more expressive, focused, and independent as their musical skills continue growing over time.
