About Tessa
Teaching piano requires an energetic spirit and a focus on building genuine musical autonomy. Are you looking to develop hand independence while mastering contemporary repertoire or classical pieces? Since earning my Bachelor of Music at the Boston Conservatory at Berklee, I have supported 419 students through their musical journeys.
My studio environment is honest and welcoming for kids, teens, adults, and intermediate learners. I balance technical precision with the joy of playing music. My background in voice allows me to teach accompaniment skills with deep musicality.
It feels great to help people play the songs they actually want to hear. I look forward to hearing your goals.

Successful musicians develop a strong sense of rhythm and harmonic understanding through dedicated practice. Do you want to master chord voicing and ear training while building a diverse repertoire?
My 13 years of experience inform the way I teach music theory and pedaling technique. I create custom sheet music arrangements for the songs you choose to ensure you stay engaged. Memorization techniques become much simpler with the right framework.
