About Kayla
I have 6.5 years of experience teaching piano and keyboard. I hold a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance from the University of North Texas, where I developed strong skills in performance and teaching.
I have helped many students learn songs and improve their musical understanding. I received a Creative Piano Teaching Medal for making lessons engaging and easy to follow. As a tutor, I focus on clarity, patience, and steady progress.
Outside teaching, I enjoy reading novels and journaling, which helps me stay thoughtful and organized in my lessons.

I teach piano in a clear and structured way so students can understand the instrument step by step. I start with note reading, hand coordination, and rhythm, and then guide students into chords, song playing, and musical expression. I include keyboard and synthesizer learning for students who want to explore modern sounds and styles. My lessons are interactive and designed to help students build confidence while enjoying the process. Together, we’ll make a subject you enjoy.
