About Up-Beat
I’m Anne-Marie Devine, 29 years old & have been playing piano accordion from the age of 10. I have my own music tuition business called Up-Beat with over 30+ students learning accordion with me from the age of 6 upwards. I love teaching and see my pupils flourish in their music. I have been teaching & performing from the age of 16 and have loved every opportunity. In 2019 I completed my Music degree & achieved a 1st class honours. I also have all my piano accordion grades & still learning.

Accordion lessons are taught in a fun, relaxed, friendly environment. Each lesson is tailored to suit your needs & you learn the type of music you enjoy. Experience in teaching those with dyslexia, autism & other learning difficulties. I find every pupil brings a new direction to my teaching & I enjoy the various challenges. I offer lessons in 30 mins, 45 mins & 60 min slots depending on the person & their level. With me you can learn as a hobby or prepare for examination grades, I’ve a full pass history in all pupils who have taken exams. I teach those from 5+ and adults right up to 83 years old.

A great teacher would highly recommend, could not learn without her !
Anne-Marie is an excellent teacher. She is patient and explains things very well. She clearly cares about her pupils and has taken the time to get to know my child and her unique learning style. My child is enjoying learning with Anne-Marie and is making really good progress.
Excellent tutor who paces your learning exactly right. You learning something new at every session then a few week’s later you’re a much better player. Friendly, passionate and encouraging. Highly recommended.
