About Hannah
I have studied piano for over 20 years. I took a course in music theory from the University of Edinburgh and the Every Child Can course from Suzuki, and am currently enrolled in courses from Berklee College of Music. The books Nurtured by Love and The Well-Tempered Keyboard teacher have been paramount in broadening my views as a teacher.
I have high hopes of achieving either my Suzuki certification or a degree in music in the next few years.

I have experience teaching piano in both a preschool and a highly rated music academy. I believe that a successful music lesson is highly engaging and interesting; my goal as a teacher is to form a connection with my student and encourage a lifelong love of music.
My preschool lessons range from 10-15 minutes long depending on the child. I use Faber's My First Piano Adventures for my students aged 3-5.
My lessons for older students are 30 minutes long. I use the Faber Piano Adventures books for most of my students; however, I have had students who advanced beyond the highest levels of the lesson books, at which point I centered their lessons around advanced techniques and theory and assigning specific songs.
