About Ross
In my physics lessons, I focus on connecting theory directly to real engineering applications. My relaxed, application-focused approach makes learning practical and engaging. We explore real-world engineering problems to understand materials science, fluid dynamics, and statics and dynamics in structures. I’m a Physics tutor with over 9 years of teaching experience and a Master’s degree in Particle Physics. My passion lies in acoustics and noise control physics, a field that combines scientific theory with real-world applications. I specialize in teaching sound propagation, sound absorption, reverberation, and the fundamental principles of noise reduction. Understanding these concepts is key to creating quieter and more comfortable environments.
In my lessons, I use architectural acoustics case studies to connect theory to practical situations. This approach helps students see how physics applies to real buildings and spaces.
