About Joanna
With over 6 years of experience in teaching Physics, I have developed a structured and results-driven approach to supporting students from GCSE through to university level.
I focus on building deep conceptual understanding in areas such as mechanics, electricity, waves, and modern physics. My teaching emphasises logical thinking and problem-solving skills, helping students understand how to apply formulae and principles correctly in different contexts.
Each lesson is tailored to the student’s needs, targeting weak areas while strengthening core understanding. I also place strong emphasis on exam technique, using past paper practice to improve accuracy, timing, and structured answers.

My Physics lessons are structured and focused on helping students achieve strong exam results while building deep understanding from GCSE through to university level.
I break down complex topics such as mechanics, electricity, waves, and modern physics into clear, logical steps. My teaching emphasises understanding the “why” behind equations and physical principles, not just memorising formulae.
Each lesson is tailored to the student’s needs, targeting weak areas and reinforcing key concepts. I use step-by-step problem solving to develop strong analytical and mathematical skills.
A major focus is exam technique. We practise past paper questions regularly to improve accuracy, speed, and structured answering. Students also learn how to interpret questions correctly and avoid common errors.
My goal is to help students become confident problem solvers who can apply Physics knowledge effectively in any exam situation.
