About Seren
In my Physics lessons, I combine traditional concepts with computational skills to make learning interactive and exciting. My nurturing and personalised approach encourages you to explore physics through computer modelling, data visualisation, and numerical methods. You’ll also learn the basics of scientific programming, applying code to solve real-world problems. We use simulations and coding exercises to bring abstract concepts to life, helping you see physics in action. I focus on supporting your growth, guiding you step by step to develop strong computational and analytical skills. Whether you enjoy experimenting on your own or tackling complex nuclear or mechanical systems, I help you apply computational methods effectively. Through these lessons, you’ll gain confidence in modelling, predicting, and visualising scientific phenomena. I aim to make learning physics hands-on, engaging, and meaningful. By exploring problems with code and simulations, you open new avenues for understanding and discovery. Each session is designed to challenge you while celebrating your progress.

I’m a Physics tutor with over 10 years of teaching experience and an MSc in Quantum Physics. My passion lies in the physics behind climate modelling and atmospheric dynamics. I am fascinated by how physical laws govern radiative transfer, atmospheric convection, ocean currents, and the feedback loops that shape our climate. Exploring these processes reveals the intricate connections that drive global climate patterns. In my lessons, I guide students to understand these complex systems with clarity and curiosity. I break down challenging concepts so that they become accessible and meaningful. Together, we investigate how energy flows through the atmosphere and oceans, and how small changes can create significant climate impacts. My goal is to connect theoretical physics with real-world environmental phenomena. I encourage students to think critically, analyse data, and ask questions that deepen their understanding. By applying physics to climate science, they gain tools to interpret and even predict Earth’s changing climate. I aim to make learning engaging, interactive, and inspiring.
