About Thalia
With 6 years of experience as a Physics tutor, I have developed a student-centered approach that transforms complicated concepts into understandable and useful knowledge. I teach students from K–12 to college first year, supporting them at every stage of their academic journey.
My goal is not simply to help students find the correct answer but to teach them how to think through a physics problem. I use everyday situations, illustrations, demonstrations, mathematical reasoning, and carefully selected exercises to connect theoretical ideas with real-world applications.
Throughout my teaching experience, I have worked with students who have different learning speeds and levels of confidence. I adjust each lesson accordingly, whether a student needs foundational support, deeper conceptual understanding, intensive practice, or examination-focused preparation.
My areas of instruction include mechanics, motion, forces, energy, momentum, gravitation, waves, optics, electricity, magnetism, thermal physics, and other essential physics topics.
I maintain a friendly and encouraging classroom atmosphere where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring ideas. Every lesson is organized around clear objectives and meaningful progress.

Physics becomes much easier when you can connect equations to real situations. In my lessons, I help K–12 students and first-year college learners understand physics through clear explanations, practical examples, visual reasoning, and structured problem-solving.
Every class is customized according to your needs. We may work on a difficult chapter, review foundational concepts, solve exam-style questions, or build your confidence with calculations. I encourage students to ask questions freely and explain their thinking, because active participation leads to stronger understanding.
My teaching covers major areas such as kinematics, Newton’s laws, work and energy, momentum, circular motion, gravitation, fluids, thermal physics, oscillations, waves, electricity, magnetism, and optics.
When solving problems, I guide you through each stage: understanding the question, identifying relevant principles, selecting the right equation, substituting values, checking units, and interpreting the final answer. This method helps you approach unfamiliar questions independently.
Whether you need academic support, exam preparation, homework guidance, or a stronger foundation for advanced study, my lessons are designed to be engaging, organized, and purposeful.
