About Vakai
Apart from being a near native English speaker am also very fluent in Spanish, some Portuguese and basic French. I have no problems mixing with different nationalities. Working in countries such as South Africa and Qatar has made me able to overcome many challenges and I think I have become a better Teacher.

I have taught different curricula over the years. I started teaching the UK Curriculum back home in Zimbabwe. I was teaching ‘O’ and ‘A’- level Physics from 1999 to 2007. Then I went to Qatar to teach IGCSE Physics for Year 10 and Year 11 students and AS level Physics for Year 12. I also taught GCSE Science for Years 7, 8 and 9 students. After that I then went to teach the National Senior Certificate in South Africa which is their equivalent of IB. Students take up to seven subjects or more and they also do Research Projects and Practical Investigations. During my school days I took ‘O’ and ‘A’- level Cambridge exams and I am Cambridge certified. I have also taught Mathematics and General Science most of the times in conjunction with my much-loved Physics which I am super passioned about.
