About Sajeel
As a university lecturer with over eight years of teaching experience and extensive knowledge of pharmacology and biomedical sciences, I am well placed to support students throughout their university journey.
Having completed an MSci and PhD, followed by postdoctoral research and Teaching Fellow positions, I have developed a strong understanding of the knowledge, skills and dedication required to achieve academic success.
My own academic journey has not been without its challenges. I had to retake my A levels before progressing to university, so I understand first-hand the difficulties and setbacks students can face. This experience has shaped my approach to teaching and strengthened my passion for helping students overcome challenges, build confidence and achieve their full academic potential.

My teaching approach is student-centred, supportive and tailored to each individual's needs, academic level and learning objectives. Where appropriate, I also help students develop examination techniques, critical thinking, scientific writing and research skills.
Lessons typically last 60 minutes, although longer sessions can be arranged to accommodate more complex topics, examination preparation or specific learning objectives.
Qualifications and experience
I aim to create a friendly, professional and encouraging learning environment in which students feel comfortable asking questions and progressing at their own pace.
I primarily offer tutoring to undergraduate and postgraduate students studying biomedical sciences, pharmacology, forensic toxicology and related life science disciplines.
My overall aim is to make challenging scientific subjects accessible, engaging and relevant, helping students become more confident, independent and effective learners.
