About Alexa
I am currently a PhD student at UCL doing research in ophthalmology and AI. I graduated from UCL in 2023 with a First Class Masters degree in Biomedical Engineering. I have a lot of experience tutoring and my passion for working with younger students comes from my love for helping my little brother with his homework.

I have 4+ years of experience in giving GCSE maths/physics and piano lessons. I have an 8 year old brother also preparing for 11+ exams who I help so I know the curriculum very well.
I offer 1 hour, group study or individual sessions where I can promote teamwork among students but also encourage independent thinking. My lessons will include doing maths, english, verbal and nonverbal reasoning questions together, and teaching different methods of answering questions that are tailored to how each student prefers to solve problems. My lessons are for all ages that are preparing for the 11+.
