About Xavier
Ex-PHD student in Hindi literature, I taught Hindi in France at Jean Moulin University for 3 years and 1 year in Sweden at Uppsala University. I also taught French as a foreign language in India in Delhi for 1 year at Jamia Millia Islamia (hired by the French Embassy in India). The two years I spent in India for my researches in art history and contemporary Hindi theater allowed me to approach Indian language and culture that fascinate me.

The Hindi courses I propose are intended for people, students or not, eager to learn the Hindi language and Indian culture. The methodology of the course will adapt to the needs of each person. It can be university type and structured or freer course. Listening to music or watching film clips, as well as discovering authentic documents are some of the media I appreciate for language learning. This also provide opportunities to discuss cultural and historical issues of Indian society.
