About Alexandra
I am an MD/PhD student with a passion for teaching. I have over 10 years and countless hours of experience tutoring students of all ages and levels. I adapt to my students' needs and collaborate with them on a plan for success. I have a Bachelor's of Science in Biology and Spanish/Portuguese. My academic training helped me excel on the science and CARS section of the MCAT.

The most challenging subjects can become a student's favorite subjects with the proper help and guidance. I help my students conquer academic challenges and achieve their goals as they study Biology, Chemistry, Anatomy, Physioloy, or prepare for important exams like the SAT or MCAT. Patience and understanding takes a big role in my job as a tutor, and I make sure to listen to my students and explain in different ways so that they grasp the concepts they find difficult. I strive to make my students understand rather than memorize so they master the material and whatever exam they are preparing for.
