About Honorine Bernadette
My approach to French teaching is interactive: Learners are expected to practice writing and listening comprehension while building a cognitive understanding of the language in which they produce words and sentences as they speak. To help them process that input, I focus on meaning. I break sentences into smaller bits and pieces, providing the grammatical paradigms and rules that illustrate lexical and contextual clues to meaning. Based on tasks, demands and the previous lessons learned, I have them produce similar sentences and words, answer yes or no questions, fill in the blanks, and true and false questions to deepen their vocabulary and comprehension.
