About Humera
I am delighted to have the opportunity to introduce myself and share my passion for teaching. My name is Humera Sarwar, and I am a dedicated educator with a deep-rooted commitment to helping students like you excel in the fascinating world of Science and Biology.
With a Master's degree in Pharmacy and 11 years of hands-on experience in both research and teaching, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our learning journey. My academic background has not only equipped me with a strong foundation in the subject but has also fueled my enthusiasm for instilling the same level of understanding and curiosity in my students.
I understand that cellular biology/ biology/ Science can sometimes seem intricate and challenging, but I am here to guide you through every step of the way. My teaching approach is built on the principles of clarity, engagement, and interactive learning. 1. Techniques and Teaching Methodology:
My teaching approach is centered around fostering deep understanding and critical thinking in cellular biology. I believe in an interactive and engaging learning environment. I utilize a combination of visual aids, real-world examples, analogies, and hands-on activities to make complex concepts relatable and easier to grasp. I encourage students to ask questions, engage in discussions, and collaborate with their peers, promoting active learning and knowledge retention.
2. Typical Length of a Lesson:
A typical lesson in cellular biology with me usually lasts around 60 to 90 minutes. I find this duration optimal for covering key concepts, engaging in discussions, and incorporating interactive elements without overwhelming the student.
3. Qualifications/Experience as a Tutor:
I hold a Master's degree in Pharmacy and have conducted research in the field for several years. My academic background and practical experience enable me to provide not only theoretical knowledge but also real-world insights into the subject. I have also tutored students at undergraduate university level for 11 years, and have a track record of helping students improve their grades and develop a strong foundation in cellular biology, biology and pharmacy related fields.
