About Lewis
I am currently undertaking a PhD which is exploring what academic challenges that Sixth form students may face and how they overcome them. I have a keen interest in stress management and developmental psychology and have a genuine love of my field.
Overall I am an easygoing person who enjoys life but knows how to manage their workload in an efficient and manageable manner.Despite me being easy going and enjoying jokes and keeping my teaching style as laid back as possible, i do have a firm grasp of what is important and how to deliver that in a concise and succinct way, in order to hammer home what the student needs to be doing to improve.
Other than my PhD i have a great interest in History with my areas of interest including: The plague of London (1665), Soviet and Communist history and a great interest in North Korean history and politics.

I am well versed in teaching students the fundamentals of Psychology as i have previously worked as a Demonstrator and assistant teacher at Sheffield Hallam University. A passion of mine is aiding students in managing their stress and improving their writing techniques, exam preparation and assignment writing.
My main areas include:

-Developmental Psychology
-Qualitative and Quantitative design
-Essay and report structure
-Positive psychology
-Individual differences
-General Modules for BSc Psychology.
My lessons would be aimed at A-level and Undergraduate level students. I aim to hone students writing and help them manage their workload throughout their A-level or University course.
