About Neha
I have an eclectic interdisciplinary background focused on global politics.
Being a keen observer of global politics inspired me to pursue journalism in my undergraduate (2016). My passion for research began here and I followed-up with a research master's in Society and Culture (2018). My dissertation focused on India's interpretation of gender equality. Thus began my formal growth in academia with a directed research interest: gender equality policies in contemporary global politics. To strengthen my theoretical knowledge, I completed another master's in core political science (2021), before pursuing a PhD in Peace Studies at Trinity College Dublin (2025).
I have taught students in Trinity College Dublin and Dublin City University. I have also presented my research in 7 international conferences. I find teaching to be fulfilling in the sense of spreading knowledge but also helping me reflect on my own thinking.

Each lesson is 1 hour in which we will cover theory and relate it to contemporary events. By the end of each lesson you can expect to have understood current affairs in more depth. You will be able to back your analysis with concepts and strong theoretical foundations. This will not only help in your exams, but also in debates, discussions and making sense of the news.
I hold a PhD and have taught undergraduates and postgraduates the politics of peace and conflict, gendered colonial hierarchies in global politics and specific concepts like Feminist Foreign Policy and the UN Women, Peace and Security Agenda.
My teaching method and philosophy is participative and rooted in the analysis of current conflicts. We will learn through discussion as is the tradition in political science. My goal is for my students to have a holistic, application-based understanding of politics. I teach undergraduates and postgraduates. I can also teach students who are interested in the topics. I work remotely in the UK and classes will be held online.
