About Connor
Completing my PhD in Physics at MIT provided the analytical framework I used during 13 years as a quant at a fintech firm. Sitting in front of a terminal debugging production code while balancing complex models became my daily routine. These 8 years of teaching have allowed me to guide students through the intricacies of computer programming and version control. I rely on my technical background to simplify Git workflows and database management for advanced learners.
Many of the students I have assisted seek to bridge the gap between academic theory and industry requirements. Working with adults and hobbyists has shown me that technical clarity is the most important tool for growth. I enjoy breaking down SQL queries into manageable logic gates for beginners.
Teaching kids the basics of programming structures gives me as much satisfaction as optimizing a high-frequency trading algorithm. My own path has been defined by a constant need to refine my code and understand the underlying mechanics of systems.
