About Bruno
I am a concert classical guitarist and Doctor of Music from the Universidade Estadual de Campinas (UNICAMP), Brazil. Throughout my career, I have received prizes in more than twenty national and international competitions across Europe and the Americas.
I maintain an active career as a soloist, chamber musician, teacher, and researcher. I have released two solo albums — Colunas (2022) and Arabescos (2025) — dedicated to Latin American repertoire and early music.
My doctoral research in guitar performance received national academic recognition, and I have also worked as a university professor and guest lecturer at festivals, universities, and cultural institutions.
With more than twenty years of teaching experience, I have worked with students of different ages and levels, from beginners to advanced musicians.
I especially enjoy working with students who are motivated to practice consistently and develop a deeper artistic understanding of music.

My lessons combine structured technical development with musical understanding and artistic expression.
We work on building a solid technical foundation while developing sound quality, phrasing, and interpretative awareness. Rather than focusing only on learning pieces, I help students understand the musical structure behind the repertoire they play.
Typical areas of focus include:
• tone production and sound projection
• technical clarity and efficiency
• musical phrasing and interpretation
• stylistic understanding of different musical periods
• repertoire development and performance preparation
Lessons are adapted to each student's goals and level. Beginners are welcome, as well as intermediate and advanced students who wish to refine technique and deepen their musical understanding.
Online lessons are available for students anywhere in the world.

Perfect! Dr. Bruno is very knowledgeable about classical guitar music, including 19th century guitar technique. After the first couple lessons with him I have already noticed some improvement in my playing. He also knows some interesting transcriptions made by still living guitarists. I would recommend him to anyone who wishes to improve their playing of and understanding of classical guitar music.
- Kevin is very interested in the repertoire and has a strong knowledge of guitar history, especially the 19th century, which is what we’ve mostly discussed.
