About John
** Oxbridge admissions interviews **
I have interviewed more than 80 students for the Cambridge NatSci and Medicine interviews and have developed very strong experience in formulating suitable interview questions as well as identifying the problem solving qualities required and sought after by interviewers for students to pass their interviews.
Apart from this, I hold a PhD from the University of Oxford, spent long research periods at the University of Cambridge and the Max Planck Institute, and I am currently a lecturer in Physics at the University of St Andrews.

** Oxbridge admissions interviews **
I have developed unparalleled experience in interviewing candidates for admissions at the University of Cambridge (see about me section). My subject expertise is Physical Chemistry and I have interviewed candidates in Maths, Physics, and Chemistry. My goal as part of preparing you for these interviews is to develop your confidence, identify the problem solving qualities that interviewers look for, and expose you to a range of question types so that you develop the expertise in controlling the pace of the interview. My lesson will be structured as follows:
* a 20 - 25 minutes interview .
* thorough feedback on performance. My feedback will focus on: problem understanding, structured thinking, quantitative/qualitative skills, communication skills, and creativity.
