About Peter
I am an artist with a PhD in Fine Art from the University of Tasmania. I work primarily in installation. My research was, and still is, focused on the psychology of creativity, and the artistic-philosophical traditions of China and Japan, methodologies still very much relevant to today when it comes to freeing the mind to play with the world through art.

Every artist is different. Through conversation I aim to discover the student's unique way of being in the world, to identify internal motivations and inspirations. That is, I help the student recognise their authentic nature in order to allow art to flow spontaneously and effortlessly. From there we can look at daily exercises, and other pathways to further develop artistic practice.
