About Pedro

I am a seasoned developer currently working for a multinational elevator company as a critical-system software engineer, deploying products that interact with millions of users in over 100 countries. Academically, I have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, with a master's degree and a PhD in Electronic Engineering and Computer Science.

I have experience in the international market, having worked in companies in the USA and in Brazil, with clients from all over the world. I have developed software for ground and underwater unmanned vehicles, both autonomous and non-autonomous. I have also already developed performant web microservices for high-demand operations. This experience allows me to show students how simple concepts learned in the classroom become useful tools in real life.

One may ask why I started giving lessons, and I like to say the answer is twofold. On the one hand, I can help other people to succeed in their careers, while at the same time, I always keep fresh topics that I probably wouldn't revisit frequently. On my side, I have the opportunity to always interact with interesting people all the time. At the end, this is a win-win situation that keeps me motivated.

About the lesson

My guidance method usually has three main steps:
- check the current status of the job and define a goal;
- develop hypotheses to be tested that corroborate the objective;
-check whether these hypotheses are true or not and readjust the course of work;

In short, I will guide you on the path of scientific methodology and make sure that you follow the scientific method.

To do this, we will discuss your topic, outline goals, and paths to carry out your work. I will act as a consultant and advisor. I will assist in writing and ensure that your work meets the level expected for your program. For video lessons, I count on multimedia assistance where the student visualizes my screen, and I can write by hand and draw to improve the visualization.
