About Marcus
I have tutored children and adults on and off for over 25 years, starting when I was a teenager helping out younger children at school when asked (and paid) by their parents to do so. Since then, I have provided private classes at companies and public institutions, workshops for police officers, social workers, and youth workers, and run many presentations and workshops for those interested in psychology, neuroscience and self-development.
Your mind will be in good hands with me, and I will ensure you understand the foundations of the material instead of cramming lots of details without knowing the connections between them. I actively apply the principles and latest research from neuroscience in my teaching methods to ensure your exam grades are as high as possible.

I am a friendly and knowledgeable PhD candidate working on my Thesis in Neuropsychology. I can provide tuition and academic support to students from GCSE level, A level, Undergraduate and Master's level with their Psychology and Cognitive / Neuropsychology learning.
The structure of lessons is adaptable, depending on your needs. I prefer to work in a conversational way that supports where you are in this moment, introducing new ideas, clarifying areas you may have doubts about, and delving deeper into interesting facts that may keep you curious and hungry to learn more. I can also provide assistance with essay writing, research projects, and exam preparation techniques.
Humour is a key component in working with me so that learning is pleasant and fun -- I like to condition my students to look forward to their lessons ;)
