About Nicki
I'm a newly-registered intern pharmacist from the University of Sydney and I also hold a Master of Brain and Mind Sciences as well as a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Neuroscience. I have helped many HSC students gain confidence in chemistry and biology, and I'm passionate about helping students achieve a fundamental understanding of their subjects, rather than just teaching them how to memorize.

I focus on clear, structured teaching that builds understanding rather than rote memorisation. I break down complex concepts in pharmacy, chemistry, and biology into manageable steps, using diagrams, real-world examples, and practice questions to reinforce learning. Lessons are interactive, and I regularly check understanding so we can adjust the pace and focus as needed.
My sessions are tailored to each student’s goals - whether that’s improving foundational understanding, preparing for exams, or gaining confidence with problem-solving. I emphasise active learning, exam technique, and linking concepts together so students can apply knowledge effectively in assessments.
Lessons typically run for 60 minutes, which allows time for explanation, worked examples, and questions. Longer sessions can be arranged if needed, especially for exam preparation or revision.
I am a newly-registered intern pharmacist as well as an experienced HSC chemistry, biology, and primary school maths tutor. I have a track record of achieving HDs across my subjects - through these studies, I developed effective study strategies and exam techniques, which I now use to help students learn efficiently and confidently.
