About Mahlatse
I studied Anaytical Chemistry with the University of Johannesburg, because I loved science so much and wanted to see myself in the Laboratory I had to choose between Biochemistry and Analytical Chemistry. Science teaches you a way to think, to reason and to understand the world we live in and everything around us. Since then I have been working in the Laboratory for 5 years, which involves critical thinking, calculations, synthesis, research, quantification and I don't regret my choice of being a chemist. All it takes is passion.

As a teacher I use experiments that have been proved an done before. Use videos to explain better to my students. I allow my students to also teach me in order for me to understand how much they know. Use better ways and steps for my students to be able to understand what they are doing and how they arrived to the answer. Physics and chemistry its all about understanding and not cramming. Once you understand the concept and what has been asked the better for you to answer the question and use the correct formula or synthesis.
