About Itzayanna

I’m Itzayanna, a Mexican professional soccer player from Tijuana, Mexico, and soccer has been a big part of my life since I was a kid.

I started representing Tijuana and Baja California at 12 years old. My journey eventually took me to the U.S. as an international student, where I played college soccer through NJCAA, NCAA, and NAIA on athletic scholarships while earning my degree in Business Administration and a minor in International Business.

After college, I continued my career professionally in Mexico and Guatemala. Along the way, I’ve experienced different teams, coaches, cultures, and styles of play, giving me a broad perspective of the game and everything that comes with being an athlete.

I’m grateful for everything soccer has taught me and excited to share that experience with other players.

About the lesson

My training is personalized and focused on helping you improve faster and understand the game better.

I use techniques like pre-visualization, technical repetition, and game-based exercises to help you develop skills more efficiently and build confidence on the field.

I have experience coaching players of different ages and levels, including working with a men’s Third Division team. Every session is adapted to your goals, whether you want to improve your technique, decision-making, confidence, or overall performance.

I want you to leave every session with something new that you can actually use in a game.

Itzay is an excellent Spanish tutor! She was recommended by my son, who also takes lessons with her (she says he’s her best student ).

Itzay is patient, understanding, and always encouraging. Since I work full-time, finding balance can be a challenge—but she makes it easier and keeps me motivated to continue learning. Each lesson is unique and engaging, so it never feels repetitive or boring.

She’s also incredibly accommodating and flexible with scheduling, which I truly appreciate. On top of all that, she has such a positive and uplifting attitude.

Highly recommend!

I’ve been learning Spanish with Itzayanna for the past seven months, and the progress I’ve made has been truly incredible. From the very beginning, she has demonstrated a high level of professionalism and a genuine passion for teaching. Each lesson is thoughtfully prepared, engaging, and tailored to my learning needs.

Thanks to her guidance and support, my understanding and confidence in the Spanish language have grown tremendously. I now feel much more capable in holding conversations, expressing myself, and navigating the language with ease. Itzayanna’s patience, encouragement, and structured approach have made a lasting impact on my learning journey, and I’m truly grateful to have her as my instructor.
