About Carissa
Hi! I'm Carissa Eldridge, and I'm so glad you're here. I’m a certified teacher with a Master of Arts in Teaching from the University of the Cumberlands, where I specialized in Learning and Behavior Disorders (LBD). I have a deep passion for helping students—especially those with unique learning needs—grow in confidence and skills. With experience in both general and special education, I understand that every child learns differently. That’s why I create tutoring sessions that are not only personalized, but also calm, encouraging, and filled with meaningful progress. Whether your child needs extra help in reading, math, or simply needs someone who believes in them, I’m here to support their journey. Learning shouldn’t feel overwhelming—it should feel empowering.
