About Finn

I graduated high school in 2025 with an ATAR of 98.10 and received an overall General English score of 98/100. Some of my distinctions include: - QCE Premier's Award for As in 6 General Subjects - Year 10, 11 & 12 Principal's Award - Junior DUX of school Throughout high school I participated in debating and mooting, receiving distinctions such as best speaker in the QUT Moot. These extracurriculars developed my excellent advocacy and public speaking skills. I am now studying a Bachelor of Laws (Honors) at UQ.

About the lesson

In the first free lesson, you can discuss your needs regarding English with me. We'll then establish some achievable goals and from there make a plan you're comfortable with and that aligns with your educational deadlines, giving us a guide for cultivating your success. Our subsequent lessons will be personalized to the facets of the plan we've made. As you develop your skills, our plan will adapt to your ever-strengthening English skills. To develop your writing, I'll walk you through various exercises using textbooks and academic materials. Much of our classes will consist of working on writing projects using the techniques and skills I teach you. I can also assist with text comprehension, editing and proofreading. I also have a great interest in Shakespeare so I can be of particular help in understanding his texts.
