About Hala

I am a graduate who has completed a BSc Educational Psychology degree. My course has covered many areas of psychology. My future aim is to become an educational psychologist. I have a passion for teaching and I have been a tutor for just over a year. I have a passion for psychology and find human psychology very interesting.

I have a lot of experience in research which is a major part of a psychology degree. I have completed a research paper on Loneliness before and after the covid-19 pandemic to assess whether there was an increase in the loneliness levels among adults.

About the lesson

My teaching methodology is using blended learning, working with different resources and techniques to ensure the best learning for students. students will be provided with all the learning resources used in the sessions.

Before each sessions, I will be asking students about the area of psychology they would like to focus on to ensure all the right resources are there. All students will be provided with a recommendation for books, articles and journals to read that will help their understanding.

The lesson structure may vary depending on the area of teaching. Most lessons will be started with a 5 minute discussion about students understanding about the area of learning before the presentation. After presentation, there will be another discussion about the sessions and for student to ask any questions they may have. There will be some examples and tasks to complete where possible.

For students who would like to learn research in psychology. There will be a free software that will be used to analyse quantitive data.

All sessions will take place using zoom or teams.
