About Lucas
I am a 20-year old PPE (Politics Philosophy and Economics) student at King's College London. When not in London I live in either Switzerland or Germany. Before I began studying this year I completed a six-moth internship at an economics think-tank in Berlin, where my duties included translating the website into English, in addition to which I have done freelance translation work from German into English at the University of Freiburg in Switzerland. All of this has given me a high degree of proficiency and a large vocabulary in both languages. I have found this very helpful when tutoring in the past since it allows me to adapt to the needs of the pupil, giving much needed flexibility, so I hope to hear from you soon!

Before beginning my teaching, I will give you some simple reading and writing exercises to asses your level, and we can have a discussion about what it is you feel you need help with and what I think can be done to achieve it.
A typical lesson might constitute you reading some German material sent to you in advance, which we then discuss in German, helping you build out you vocabulary and confidence as well as improving pronunciation. If you're preparing for exams and require help with a specific format, just let me know and I can design a lesson to suit those parameters.
