About Nicholas

I'm a bag addict. The only thing stopping me from not having a warehouse full of gear and tech that piqued my interest over the years is the economy.

I spend my free time researching and comparing bags, the materials they're made of, and the direction these companies are heading with their designs. I visit stores locally and whenever I travel to check out existing and new bags and accessories like cycle-friendly gear, tech pouches, etc.

Spending at least an hour in a store testing almost all their products by packing them out and going through the motions with them brings me joy.

About the lesson

I've spent years researching bags so you don't have to.

In a typical session we'll spend time getting to the root of the challenge you're trying to solve, and then walking through some options that suit your needs most by talking through different use cases and the thoughtful design choices that help you actually use your gear.

These sessions are suitable for anyone who is interested in better quality products and thoughtful recommendations for daily use, study, work, travel/one-bag travel, luxury, etc.

Typical sessions can take between 15 minutes to an hour or more depending on how in-depth you want to get and how many items you are interested in getting. These sessions are also not limited to bags, feel free to ask me about any other type of gear and I'll try my best to help.

I'm happy to meet online or in-person around Brisbane for a coffee, or even go to the shops with you! I stick to my rates but may (likely) give discounts at my discretion.

I do have a handful of bags and accessories in my collection that I'll be more than happy bring along to irl sessions as well.

I travel interstate at least once a year so if I'm in your area, I'd be excited to meet up and chat!

If we click and keep in touch after our sessions, I'm more than happy to continue providing value outside of this platform as well. I just love gear and want to do good with what I know.
