About Poli
With 8 years of teaching and performing experience, I am a passionate violin tutor committed to helping students grow as confident, skilled, and expressive musicians. I teach school and college students at all levels, from beginners discovering foundational techniques to advanced learners preparing for recitals, competitions, and exams.
One of the most rewarding milestones in my career has been guiding students from struggling with posture, technique, or stage confidence to performers capable of playing with technical skill, emotion, and expressive interpretation.
My teaching emphasizes strong technical foundations, including posture, finger placement, bowing technique, rhythm, tone, and intonation, while also fostering creativity, musical interpretation, and expressive performance. I integrate music theory, sight-reading, listening exercises, and performance practice to provide a holistic and well-rounded musical education.
Lessons are adapted to each student’s pace, goals, and learning style, creating a supportive, patient, and inspiring environment where students are encouraged to explore, express themselves, and reach their full potential. Teaching violin allows me to cultivate confidence, discipline, and a lifelong passion for music.

I teach violin with a methodology focused on motivation, communication, creativity, and integrity, designed to help students become technically skilled, expressive, and confident musicians. Lessons are personalized, blending technical exercises with creative exploration, improvisation, and performance preparation, tailored to each student’s goals and learning style.
Motivation drives learning. I guide students in setting achievable goals, tracking progress, and celebrating milestones, fostering perseverance, self-confidence, and a love for music. Students are encouraged to embrace challenges and view mistakes as opportunities for improvement.
Communication ensures lessons are interactive and collaborative. Students can ask questions, share challenges, and explore ideas freely, creating a supportive and engaging learning environment.
Creativity is emphasized through improvisation, composition, and interpretation exercises. Students develop their artistic voice, emotional expression, and a personal connection to music. Integrity reinforces disciplined, responsible practice and respect for learning, cultivating habits that ensure long-term growth and excellence.
Alongside violin, I teach music theory, sight-reading, ear training, rhythm exercises, and introductory piano, providing students with a holistic and well-rounded foundation in music.
