About Axewell
As a Piano tutor, I believe music education should inspire students to learn with confidence and enthusiasm. With more than 12 years of experience teaching college students, I create lessons that are practical, engaging, and tailored to individual learning goals.
My teaching style is supportive and organized. I explain difficult concepts in simple English and encourage students to develop strong practice habits through consistent guidance.
I use innovative learning methods including digital music resources, rhythm development, ear training, visual instruction, and personalized performance exercises. These methods help students understand music while enjoying the learning process.
Students improve note reading, scales, chords, finger techniques, posture, rhythm, and expressive playing. Through regular progress reviews and personalized guidance, I help students become confident and independent musicians.

I believe piano lessons should inspire confidence, creativity, and a genuine interest in music. My teaching approach combines communication, creativity, flexibility, and patience to create lessons that are enjoyable and productive. Every student receives individual attention so they can learn comfortably at their own pace.
Students first build a strong foundation through posture, finger coordination, rhythm exercises, note reading, and music theory. As their skills improve, they continue with scales, chords, dynamics, articulation, pedal techniques, expressive performance, sight reading, and musical interpretation. Lessons are designed to develop both technical accuracy and musical expression.
I explain every concept through demonstrations, guided practice, and practical examples. Students are encouraged to ask questions, solve musical challenges, and build consistent practice habits. Regular progress reviews help students stay motivated.
Students also explore different musical styles while improving creativity through accompaniment, improvisation, and expressive playing. These experiences develop confidence and encourage independent musical thinking.
Besides piano, I teach keyboard, ear training, rhythm development, music theory, sight reading, music appreciation, beginner composition, and performance preparation. These supporting lessons provide complete musical development.
My mission is to help students become confident musicians who enjoy learning and continue growing throughout their musical journey.
