About Dennis
For over 12 years, I have been teaching Piano to students of different ages, backgrounds, and skill levels. I work with school students, college students, and working professionals, helping them achieve their musical goals through personalized instruction.
My teaching philosophy is based on communication, patience, and continuous encouragement. I believe students perform their best when they feel supported and motivated throughout their learning journey.
My classes cover piano techniques, scales, chords, rhythm exercises, sight reading, ear training, music theory, improvisation, and performance preparation. I focus on helping students build confidence while mastering the fundamentals of Piano.
Apart from Piano instruction, I also teach keyboard skills, music reading, and basic music theory. These additional subjects help students understand music more deeply and become more versatile musicians.
I enjoy creating a friendly and positive learning environment where students feel inspired to grow. My aim is to make learning Piano enjoyable while helping every student reach their highest potential.

My teaching methodology combines communication, creativity, flexibility, and practical learning. I believe students learn best when lessons are interactive, organized, and suited to their individual learning pace. Every student receives personal attention and encouragement throughout the learning journey.
Students first master posture, hand position, finger exercises, rhythm, note reading, and music theory. Once these basics become comfortable, they continue with scales, chords, arpeggios, dynamics, articulation, pedal techniques, expressive performance, sight reading, and stage preparation.
I use demonstrations, practice sessions, and regular assessments to help students understand every concept. Students are encouraged to ask questions, develop problem-solving skills, and practice consistently between lessons.
Students learn music from different styles while improving creativity through improvisation, accompaniment, and musical interpretation. These activities strengthen musical confidence and performance ability.
Besides piano, I teach keyboard skills, ear training, rhythm exercises, music theory, sight reading, music appreciation, beginner composition, and performance preparation. These supporting lessons provide complete musical development.
My mission is to inspire students to enjoy learning while becoming confident and expressive musicians.
