About Yandi
I come from a family of musicians and I studied Afro-Caribbean percussion at the conservatory of Cayenne in French Gaiana. I have played in several Latin music groups for several years and I have also traveled a lot in order to perfect my technique and my musicality (Dominican Rep., Cuba, Colombia, Costa Rica, Suriname). I can teach you Congas, Bongo, Bells (Campana), Timbales, Güira/Güiro and other minor percussion. My favorite styles are Salsa, Merengue, Bachata, Afro-Cuban, Zouk/Kompa and Latin-Jazz.

I adapt perfectly to the needs and level of the student and I quickly identify the type of effective pedagogy according to each person's profile. Some prefer to work on pure technique, others on musicality, playbacks, setting up pieces... We define what the student wants and what is effective to help him progress and achieve his goals. My lessons are aimed at beginners who have never touched an instrument as well as intermediate percussionists who are looking to progress or those from other styles who would like to explore other horizons. I like to teach and transmit while respecting everyone's rhythm : all in a good mood. What are you waiting for to join me? Ya, no fuimos!
