About Max

I am a first year medical student with a passion for S2 and helping others improve in it as well. Between the March 2024 and September 2024 GAMSAT I was able to increase my S2 score by 13 points from a score of 67 to 80 (99+th %ile). I have seen both sides. I understand what it is like to be starting out with no idea how to approach S2 and my original score reflected this. However, through countless hours of writing, researching, and analysing what S2 is actually examining I have developed a systematic method to the section that set me up for success. I want to share this with you. Through our one on one sessions, I will help you develop the thinking to smash S2 and improve your writing just like I have.

About the lesson

Our first lesson will be an introductory lecture outlining my method, mindset, and analysis of Section 2. In this session, I will explain, step by step, exactly how I approached my preparation and thinking to ultimately achieve a score of 80 in this section.

In subsequent sessions, we will work together to develop these skills through thoughtful discussion. This will include Socratic questioning to promote depth and nuance in your thinking, discussions on idea generation and theme interpretation, feedback on the quality and organization of your ideas, and guidance on improving your prose.

Signing with me will also give you access to exemplar essays and resource recommendations for S2 at any time.

This walking, breathing encyclopaedia has single handily carried me into getting an offer for Medicine at one of Australia’s most prestigious universities - University of Melbourne. He’s very adaptable and innovation, always coming up with new ways to prepare for GAMSAT by using my hobbies such as League of Legends. I highly recommend Max as a GAMSAT tutor.
