About Emmalyn
"Do you often feel like your voice is holding you back during high stakes auditions? Being a singer who has spent 13 years performing in musical theater gives me a unique perspective on the challenges you face today. I hold a Master of Music in Vocal Studies and a BM in Piano Performance from the Peabody Institute.
My 13 years of teaching experience allow me to break down complex vocal mechanics into simple steps. Chicago based students often seek my guidance for BFA prep or stage fear management.
I enjoy working with intermediate learners and kids who want to develop better pitch control. It is rewarding to see students find their authentic sound. Sometimes the process is just about getting comfortable with your own instrument."
