About Mariia
I am currently in Toronto studying business on my way to Bachelor's Degree. I have recently graduated from high school with Honours, where my majors were math and German language. Over the years, I have been studying in Germany as an exchange student for almost 6 months and was a winner of national-wide german language competitions among students of my age group. I have a DSD II diploma (Sprachdiplom Niveu C1) and over 2 years of experience teaching children and adults.

I believe that the learning process should be as personal as possible. That is why I love hearing from my students and sharing what's going on in my life as well.
I always start the lesson with a conversation to "warm-up", a brief recap from the last lesson, and a homework check (if any was given). Then we go over a new topic using the material I provide - it is usually a textbook, but I try to include videos and interactive exercises whenever appropriate and possible. At the end of a lesson, I answer any questions my student might have, and keep in touch after the lesson in case new questions arise.
