About Adri
I am a Grade 8 ABRSM certified pianist with a deep passion for music education and mentorship. My goal as a tutor is to make the piano accessible, engaging, and stress-free for absolute beginners and advancing musicians alike. Having experienced the dedication it takes to reach higher musical grades, I understand the challenges students face and know how to guide them past hurdles with patience and care. I look forward to welcoming new students from around the Sundays River Valley into my studio and helping them reach their personal musical goals.

As a Grade 8 ABRSM qualified instructor, my teaching approach centres around patience, encouragement, and structured progression. I firmly believe that everyone learns at their own pace, which is why I adapt my style to match your unique interests, strengths, and goals.
My music classes are open to all ages and skill levels within the Sundays River Valley, specifically catering to absolute beginners or anyone who has never touched a piano before. Intermediate students can move beyond the basics to master coordination, sight-reading, and expression. ABRSM and Trinity Exam preparation is available for aspiring pianists looking for rigorous, structured preparation to pass formal exams.
I offer three distinct lesson tracks depending on your goals:
Performance Lessons: Focused entirely on practical playing, technique, posture, expression, and building your repertoire.
Music Theory Lessons: Dedicated sessions focused on notation, rhythm, and structural understanding. This track provides essential preparation for formal ABRSM and Trinity written examinations.
Integrated lessons: Balanced sessions that blend practical performance and basic music theory into one comprehensive class.
